DR Sales marks World Earth Day
April 22nd signifies the annual Earth Day, an important celebration and reminder of our planet, its animals - and the need to protect them.
At DR Sales we mark the day by highlighting brilliantly curious children's documentary series 'Wild and Wonderful Animals'. Over the span of 40 episodes, the popular children's series takes viewers small and tall alike on an adventure into the forest, the sea and through open landscapes, lakes and creeks into the city. On average each episode was streamed 300.000 times within a one-year period (2021-22) following the national release. 'Wild and Wonderful Animals' has been acquired by UR Sveriges Utbildningsradio (Sweden), NRK (Norway), VME Media (Latin America), RUV (Iceland) and Ceska (Czech Republic) and is additionally to be broadcasted by Suspline (Ukraine).
