We're beyond pleased that PRISONER is among a selected few on the shortlist in the 'Best Programme Acquisition' category at the Broadcast Digital Awards celebrating the most creative and innovative digital content from across the UK, competing against fellow BBC acquisitions 'Beyond Utopia' and 'Sister boniface Mysteries'. The winner is to be decided on July 3rd. The shortlisting is just the latest of accolades for the award-winning six-part series that has taken British audiences by storm since premiering on BBC Four in February of this year. Lead actress Sofie Gråbøl was featured on the frontpage of esteemed newspaper The Times' culture section and PRISONER gained wonderfully favorable reviews in national newspapers 'The Daily Telegraph' and 'The Guardian', the latter describing it as "utterly gripping ... an impossibly taut and compelling series".
